Search continues for missing fishermen in Nellore

Two bodies were recovered while search continued for another two missing fishermen after two boats capsized due to storm while fishing near Tatichetlapalem beach in Kavali constituency of SPSR Nellore district on Wednesday.

The deceased fishermen were identified as Tuppili Balamurali (55) and Kumari Govindu (44), while Ganesh (27) and Raja (31) are still missing. Both of them hail from Alicharla Bangarupalem village in Bogolu mandal of the district.

According to Bitragunta police, the Coast Guard officials and the local fishermen have been searching for the missing fishermen for more than 24 hours. It is unclear whether they have died or gone missing at sea.
