‘Excel Shankar’ film launched in Visakhapatnam

The launch ceremony of “Excel Shankar,” the third production of BFF Productions, was held at the production office in Akkayyapalem in Visakhapatnam on Sunday (August 2, 2026). Former Deputy Mayor Dadi Satyanarayana inaugurated the office by cutting the ribbon and conveyed his best wishes to the cast and crew.

The programme began with traditional puja rituals. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Satyanarayana said he hoped the Telugu film industry would establish a stronger presence in Visakhapatnam in the coming years, generating employment opportunities for artistes and technicians.

The film is directed by T.S. Rayudu, with B. Santosh Kumar associated with the screenplay, dialogues, lyrics and creative supervision. Actors Pooja, Babu Dev, Chandrasekhar, Samudram Venkatesh, Pillu Prasad, Satish Reddy, Tulasi, Sagar and others attended the launch programme.
