NLC India Renewables gets Letter of Award for 200-MW wind power project

NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited (NLCIL), has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for setting up a 200-MW wind power project in Koppal, Karnataka.

According to NLCIL, the power generated from the project will be supplied to SECI Limited. The latest addition will further strengthen NIRL’s renewable energy portfolio. Incorporated in 2023, the main objective of NIRL is to acquire and manage green energy projects and assets owned by NLCIL at present.
