The Saroornagar police in Telangana registered a case against two police officers of Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh who arrested YouTuber K. Venkatrami Reddy (KVR) on July 1.
Following a complaint lodged by KVR’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, alleging that unidentified persons claiming to be A.P. police arrived in ‘mufti’ and took her husband away from home. They did not reveal their identity and behaved harshly, she alleged.
The Telangana police booked a case and initiated investigation.
